With each change in direction, our perception of right from wrong flip accordingly and the diverse forms of bigotry grow almost exponentially. Here is an example of an ex-established-norm which, if uttered today, brands the speaker as an ineffable bigot and homophobe. And only a few short years ago these values were presented as guidance to those who police our society.

TODAY WE SCOFF at England’s Victorian period and its associated values system. A system which superficially denied the existence sex and sexuality, enforced exaggerated gender roles and shored up the class system.

YET EVERY SOCIETY since then has bred its own series of equally irrational and unnatural values which it classified as its norm.

WHAT IS POLITICAL CORRECTNESS but the contemporary manifestation of the same inability to accept diversity?
