A history of indie rock icons: Wayward Tech
Hailing from their cousin’s garage in San Francisco, Wayward Tech found themselves at the top of the the indie rock scene in 1989 with their debut album, Dark Fiber. The band’s latest album, Sticky Paradigm, layers St John Smythe’s poignant lyrics with rollicking Brit-Pop to assemble another collection of retro-inspired creations. With standout tracks like “Ctl-Alt-Del,” don’t be surprised if you find Wayward Tech at the top of the indie rock charts and beyond.
